bitten fingernails for living with impacts of trauma. i was worried about not having a 4th color for that one, and am feeling pretty clever about result.
I’m really bad at painting my nails! (As you can see from my messy application here.)
But I wanted to try this out anyway. I put a purple tip w/ glitter on one nail for genderqueer. The black w/ glitter I’m not really sure about…queer interested in kink, maybe? I generally paint my nails black to go with my usual goth all-black ensemble.

I’m perhaps only femme sometimes, but I love the idea of femme flagging. Burgundy for (interest in) fisting and because it’s a pretty fierce color. “Fucking fingers” (penetration fingers) left plain burgundy (they can’t be fancy- they have to do work!). Silver tips for poly, black stripes for a little kink, and thumb is clear (with burgundy stripe) for queer.
Just for the hell of it! Hadn’t painted my nails in forever and I love the flagging idea. No particular meaning, I was just feeling the sparkles tonight.
glitter nail + homework = flagging for academia? (my reward for finishing this assignment will be buying more nail polish…)
Can leopard print mean something in femme flagging? I feel like it should.
So femme flagging is really exciting to me, so I wanted to take a crack at it. I always get read as straight cause I’ve got the boy, so I’m all over finding new ways to show off a little bi pride.
Shimmery purple on most fingers for queer femme-ness.
Black tips for open to kink- not fully black, just the tips.
Shimmery pink ring finger on my right hand cause I have a person (if I had the colour, I would have painted it blue to get some bi pride colours happening).
Shimmery pink middle finger on my right hand because just because my person is a guy doesn’t make me any less queer, so fuck you.
On a side note, I do like that my ring, which like all the rings I own does not fit on my ring finger, serves to highlight the ‘fuck you’ aspect of it all.
