personally i (garconniere) really like this idea, and it’s been coming up a bit. it’s important to recognize that a lot of femmes might reject the institution of marriage, so i like that it can specifically mean that for the femmes who participate in/challenge that institution. personally, as a newly civil union’ed femme in an open relationship, i’ve been struggling a bit with ideas of visibility in recent months. painting my ring finger nail on my left hand is definitely how i’m going to start playing with that!
